SPECIAL EVENT "BLOODY TUESDAY" being held on Saturday, March 4

We are fortunate to host an EXTRAORDINARY evening of Mardi Gras food, entertainment and fun. This very special fundraising event was created for We Are The Villagers, a group which for years has made it their mission to help families and their children participate in extracurricular activities of interest to them without being restricted by registration fees and equipment costs.

The local talented theatrical group consists of Brendan Main, a gifted writer who wrote the play, Jenny Hall who has been instrumental in pulling things together, director Christine Killing and actors Stephen Hartnell, Emily J Hart, Eli Lamoureux, Kristine Mannion, Lori Grace Petroff, Ross Skoggard and Rebecca Weissflog. This entire team have generously donated their time and talents for this event.

This will be a night you will remember for the rest of the year and beyond. You will laugh, you will gasp and maybe even solve the mystery. You will enjoy delicious food. Most of all you will be supporting an amazing cause.

Let's keep putting smiles on the children.

Doors open at 6pm, play starts at 7pm. A 3-course Louisiana meal will be served. Tickets are available at $100 per person including gratuity and HST. Call We Are The Villagers at 705-529-1247 or Le Maitre D at 705-549-7000 to reserve your place.

Le Maitre D is a personal, neighborhood style restaurant situated in the town of Penetanguishene, a picturesque bilingual community at the southern tip of beautiful Georgian Bay. The menu selection consists of regional cuisines of France and Canada. It features traditional French-Canadian recipes with a Metis influence – two cultures that are part of the fibre of Huronia. The menu includes a wide range of items to suit all tastes. We truly believe in the quality of each dish. From preparing all of our sauces, dressings and dips in house, to preparing each dish individually as it is ordered, the result are absolutely delicious homemade dishes. We invite everyone to savour gourmet cuisine that features local products and heritage. Come, experience our hospitality, enjoy the sounds of French music and the talent of our local artists!

The 45 seat restaurant serves dinner Wednesday to Sunday.
